It's ok to get the posed portrait of the whole family AND it's even better to also get captured all the other moments that make those milestones or traditions so meaningful and particular to you. The photo of the birthday cake is a must, but the photo of mom finishing the decorations last minute is what you and your children will treasure most down the road. The host gets often overlooked in the party photos because of all the things that must be taken care of. BEE SEEN! I will make sure to include you in these visual memories.

If you are looking to get 25 images of different people standing behind the cake and smiling, I'm not for you. Of course you get a group photo, and portraits of the celebrated one, but my process is unobtrusive. I will not interrupt the flow of the event. Instead, I'll capture your family and friends enjoying the moment. We would have a chat prior to the event for me to know what's most important to you on that day (like if you have a family member flying from a different country to celebrate for the first time here), and then I'll see magic and wrap it for you in artful images that transport you back to the moment every time you look at them.
